Green Loose Leaf Tea
A well rounded green tea, with earthy, buttery, grassy notes.
Green tea is made from the same bushes as black tea, but the leaves are heated and dried soon after they have been plucked to prevent oxidisation, the process which gives black tea its dark colour and flavour. Green tea must be prepared slightly differently to keep the complexity of flavours, at a lower temperature and with filtered water, to avoid an astringent flavour, which can occur if brewed incorrectly.
Light bodied with a tinge of orange rind and sweet straw
Bell pepper and fresh grass cuttings
Green-gold with a pink hue
